Before we dive into today’s subject, I’ll state my goal here and what I aim to achieve in this presentation. First, this is in no way a deep dive into the subject at hand, it is very surface level to get an idea of what type of technologies are being developed that could influence how we write our infrastructure. Using Cloudflare services (Part 1)
While it is fun to know what services are available, it is way better to work with them! In this presentation, I’ll be showing you the tools wrangler and pywrangler to build, develop and deploy to Cloudflare services. Cloudflare offers a wide range of services that runs at edge, including: 01 - CDN, DNS, Load Balancing & Registrar Most famous services from Cloudflare. Usually what people uses Cloudflare for and it comes with sizeable advantage from other CDN provider such as the best DDoS prevention right now, some WAF protection, automatic SSL/TLS certification (up until Cloudflare at least) and easy integrations with other Cloudflare services.
